David Nestoff has told stories in more formats than he’s kept track of — newspaper bylines, ad taglines, 100 original songs, and more half-filled notebooks than he’ll ever admit. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree he swears was useful at the time, he writes with a mix of sharp wit, earned wisdom, and a knack for finding humor in places it shouldn’t logically exist.
His work blends restless curiosity with a grounded warmth, and his characters embody the reckless fun and true friendship lived on a journey from the Pacific into the mountains, and from the mountains to the coastal northeast.
David is currently seeking a publisher for his debut novel Circus Dogs, a comedic and satirical historical fiction set in 1890’s Kansas City. Alongside his fiction, he continues to publish short stories, essays, and the occasional poetic detour here at The Stranger’s Window.
